Week Twenty-two! When I started this journey, it sounded like a long time for my Type-A self to be limited, but with a little progress and a lot of exercises, it did pass pretty quickly. This week marked my “graduation” from weekly PT visits. Am I 100%? No. But I’ve moved into the next phase.

My last step is to get the arm behind my back, reaching up so I can scratch that itch! My doctor and PT reminded me that the last little bit will take time, work, and a bit of getting back to living.”

It’s taking a bit of work to get the family to stop telling me I can’t do something. I also have to remember that some days will still need some ice, and exercises need to continue. Feel a bit stiff or achy? take 3 minutes and do one of your exercises. You’ll be amazed at the results, and it will help you continue to strengthen your body.
